SSA will host its first Laanduu Tournament on February 8th, 2012. This is going to be one heck of an event filled with fun and laughter. Be sure to come support SSA and sign up for the tournament here. There will be prizes for the top two winners. 

Food will be catered by Afro Deli, and will include delicious Somali deserts. Hope to see you there.

Halaqa @ The U, is growing!. Participation rates have increased double folds. 

The lecturer is Yussuf Soussi. He is from Tunisia and studied at the University of Cairo in Egypt. He is the younger brother of Mohamed Soussi.

He is very similar to his brother but very different also. What I really like about him is his candid expression. When he is lecturing he is lecturing from the heart.  I love Halaqa so far and you (the reader) should come to it this Friday and every Friday in the Fall and Spring Semester in Carlson School of Management Honeywell Auditorium from 5:00-7:30pm
